The Kerala Story 2, the story of youngsters who are purportedly coerced into religious conversions, is no exception to some of the controversy, like what played during the first film’s premiere. The sequel features Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha in key roles. Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, it hopes to flesh out the original storyline while tackling various aspects of the problem.
According to trade experts, the collections of the film are still behind the prequel’s numbers, but the Day 2 surge indicates room for sustained growth.
