The "Inside Access" Review

The link between Rupali and the film is personal: her brother, the celebrated choreographer Vijay Ganguly, is a member of the creative team behind it. When her brother was at the editing studio a few days ago on video, Rupali watched “bits and pieces” of the final cut. In explaining the experience, Rupali said:

“I saw my first Dhurandhar twice in the theatre. What a film! Can't wait for the next part. Vijay was editing something yesterday and showed me some shots on video call. I asked him to rewind and show it to me once more, and then that was great. Indeed, every frame is amazing.”

What to Expect from the Sequel

  • Directed by Aditya Dhar (Uri: The Surgical Strike), Dhurandhar: The Revenge follows the brutal story of Jaskirat Singh Rangi (Ranveer Singh), the undercover agent whose work infiltrates the underworld in Lyari, Karachi.
  • The Return of Akshaye Khanna: Killing his character in the first installment, the sequel reportedly features Khanna in crucial flashback sequences.
  • Team Power: The film is powered by an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun.

Scaling up On a global scale

With shots set across India and Thailand, the film is hailed as one of India's most expensive and visually spectacular spy thrillers.

Trailer and Release Schedule

Fans won’t need to hold on for long for an overall look at the film. The trailer for the movie Dhurandhar: The Revenge will come out on March 5, 2026, just after the Holi festivities. The creators are said to have set up a huge opening at Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai.

The movie has been gearing up toward a big box office collision with the Yash-starring Toxic, transforming March 19 in history to become the biggest Friday of the year for Indian film.
