Iran Sets Three Bold Conditions to End War With US and Israel Amid Escalating Conflict

Iran has laid down three key conditions for ending the ongoing war with the United States and Israel, signaling that any ceasefire will depend on major political and diplomatic concessions from its adversaries. The announcement came as the conflict in the Middle East continues to intensify with missile strikes, drone attacks, and rising civilian casualties.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian outlined the demands in a public statement, saying that the war can only end if certain fundamental conditions are met by the U.S. and Israel.

The Three Conditions

According to Tehran, the conflict could be brought to an end if the following conditions are fulfilled:

  1. Recognition of Iran’s legitimate rights – Iran wants international acknowledgment of its sovereignty and political rights, which it says have been violated during the recent military strikes.

  2. Payment of reparations – Tehran is demanding compensation for the destruction and civilian losses caused by attacks carried out by the United States and Israel.

  3. Guarantees against future aggression – Iran is seeking firm international assurances that such attacks will not be repeated in the future.

Pezeshkian said these conditions represent the “only way to end the war,” emphasizing that Iran would continue defending itself if the attacks persist.

Conflict Continues Despite Calls for Peace

The announcement comes as the war between Iran, the United States, and Israel continues to escalate across the Middle East. Military operations began after coordinated strikes targeted Iranian military infrastructure and nuclear-related facilities, triggering retaliatory attacks from Tehran and its regional allies.

The conflict has already caused widespread destruction and humanitarian concerns. Iranian officials claim that thousands of civilian sites have been damaged since the fighting began, while international organizations warn of severe impacts on civilians and infrastructure in the region.

Mixed Signals From Washington

While Iran has set conditions for peace, U.S. President Donald Trump recently said that the war could end soon, suggesting that American and Israeli strikes have already achieved their primary objectives. However, officials in Washington and Tel Aviv have indicated that military operations could continue for weeks if necessary.

Uncertain Path to Ceasefire

Analysts say Iran’s demands could complicate diplomatic negotiations, particularly the call for reparations and security guarantees. At the same time, international mediators including regional powers are reportedly exploring ways to push both sides toward negotiations and prevent further escalation.

For now, the conflict remains volatile, with both sides continuing military operations while signaling willingness to discuss conditions for ending the war.
