Neighbourhoods in Bengaluru and other parts of Bengaluru are expected to see power disruptions from July 25 to 26 as BESCOM will perform temporary power outages in several parts of the city for quarterly maintenance and repairs of power distribution stations. Residents should have plans on how to deal with such work, since power supply will be interrupted between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on both of those days.
According to BESCOM officials, the maintenance will take place on four major 66/11 KV power distribution stations: SRT, Victoria, Byadarahalli and Tavarekere. The shutdown is part of routine infrastructure maintenance in order to ensure the reliability and efficiency of power supply in Bengaluru.
