Bengaluru Professor Suspended for Calling Muslim Student ‘Terrorist’ in Viral Video

A professor was suspended after one video appeared circulating of him allegedly mock (at his classroom) his young Muslim student because he had allegedly said some nasty types of rude remarks about him in a lesson in Bengaluru, the Bengaluru college where he had been charged with making some inappropriate and offensive comments toward Muslims by taking a walk with fellow professors in his lectures and there’s high public anger against Muslims going to the news for their case of discrimination in Bengaluru now with so far a lot of anger, so far that in this week from students who feel disrespected just across campus as they see their classmates as well with the video is a source of fire among them (I wish to see some signs of improvement by them at this stage).

The accused Dr. Muralidhar Deshpande and his friends and friends are seen repeatedly calling a student a terrorist and telling him and his friends the“terrorist thing”. The video attracted him to police and to students, activists and the social media.

Based on the backlash against it, the college administration initiated an internal review and suspended the Professor. It also announced in an official statement that “we will not tolerate such behaviours in our world of learning,” they said.

The incident struck a chord with students, students who were both in solidarity with the Professor, and disagreed with others. And the problem’s been raising alarms about whether the institution may be prepared to deal with discrimination and safety of students in a manner respectful and protect it and that the child in a safe way. So far this topic isn’t all that resolved I don’t know, but for a time it just keeps coming because there’s never been an end to this issue yet.

But education officials said they were following up with the case and could make other recommendations based on how well this was resolved by the inquiry. That has fed into the discussion that campus culture and freedom of expression and discrimination towards race and religion or identity have got more debates about.

Even as the scores are still coming in at times and some floor experience has been different, students are now demanding accountability and systems in place with better structure in place to make classrooms safe; in which everyone gets something in there, we are all students are calling, in this case to contribute.
