The Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has been in contact with people in the state stranded in Nepal and directed them to take safe routes back to the state.
The Chief Minister spoke directly to Kannadigas affected by the travel disruption and assured them that the Karnataka government would be there to provide them with all the assistance they require until they return to the state.
