Arvind Kejriwal, national convenor of AAP, says the protesters gathered at Jantar Mantar were subjected to the use of force at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar during the demonstration.
Arvind Kejriwal told supporters and the media that he had met several protesters who claimed they were injured in the police action.

"I met protesters who were lathi-charged. Stones were thrown, and tear gas shells were fired upon them, and they had nothing (no weapons)," Kejriwal said.
The AAP leader said protesters were peaceful and unarmed when force was used against them. His comments come as demonstrations are still going on in the capital over the protesters’ problems.
Kejriwal met students who had been granted bail earlier in the day after being arrested in connection with the protests. He assured them of legal help and urged them to continue their struggle but not let them be scared and keep going in peaceful and democratic means, he said.
The Jantar Mantar protest has drawn students, activists and political leaders, and opposition parties have joined in the rallies. The protests have also led to political exchanges between the ruling party and the opposition over the handling of the protests.
As of now, Delhi Police has not responded in public to Kejriwal's claims of lathi-charge, stone pelting, and tear gas use. Police have previously said in a statement that security measures are taken during protests to maintain public order and enforce restrictions where necessary.
The developments have brought political tension into the demonstrations, and opposition leaders are calling for accountability while the government maintains that law enforcement agencies are following procedures.
