Road accidents are still a huge problem across Karnataka, especially on highways and busy roads where traffic usually travels at high speed. Sudden turns, failure to observe approaching traffic and lack of awareness while changing direction are also dangerous for passengers.
The accident near Bellur is once again a reminder that we need to be cautious when entering petrol pumps or taking turns on busy roads. Drivers are advised to keep a close eye on mirrors and traffic around and make sure it is safe to switch lanes or turn.
Investigators will probably also collect additional evidence as part of the investigation. Statements from those involved and witnesses may also help police to determine the circumstances of the accident.
A police investigation into the incident is ongoing in Mandya district.
The injured people will be kept under medical observation. Motorists are advised to drive safely and be alert when turning or entering and leaving roadside establishments.
The tragic accident cost one life and injured several others in the same car accident and once again we have to make sure we are safe driving. The Mandya car accident investigation is ongoing and the results should be given to the authorities.
