Faisal Khan, commonly known as Khan Sir, has drawn the eye of the police after a woman from Uttar Pradesh approached the police in Patna with allegations of a threat to her life. Khushnara Khatun, who filed a complaint against him, said she fears an “untoward incident” could be orchestrated against her.
She claims to have knowledge of many matters about Khan Sir and fears sharing such information would put her life at risk. She wants the police to listen to her allegations and provide her with the security she needs.
The allegations, however, have not been independently verified, and no conclusion about their veracity has been established at this stage. Police have started to investigate the complaint and the circumstances surrounding the claims.
Woman Lashes Out for Threats.
The woman’s complaint dates back to 2017-18. She said Khan Sir visited the room of a female friend in Patna and would spend much time there. She said she objected to the visits and was threatened.
She said by then she was warned that she could be involved in a police case and was threatened with death. And she was warned not to tell anyone about confidential information.
The woman has now approached the police because she fears for her safety. Khan Sir’s controversies and developments have made her afraid that something can be taken against her to prevent her from talking about information she may have, she said.
The complaint is very much about the threats and the woman’s request for protection. At this time the allegations about previous incidents and alleged threats remain allegations and are subject to police verification.
Police Record Complainant’s Statement
Police have initiated a preliminary probe into the allegations. DSP Rajesh Ranjan said officers had contacted the complainant and recorded her statement. Police are now looking into the allegations made in the complaint and looking into the related circumstances.
The investigation is expected to establish the background of the complaint, assess the specific allegations made by the woman and determine whether there is sufficient evidence to support her assertions. The police will also investigate the circumstances in which the threats were made and whether there has been any offence.
At this point the police have not yet said that the allegations have been proven. The investigation will determine what action, if any, should be taken.
Khan Sir has had controversies earlier
Khan Sir, whose real name is Faisal Khan, is a well-known educator and coaching teacher in Patna. He has a strong following among students preparing for competitive exams and has often been in the news over issues related to his coaching activities and public statements.
He recently was in the spotlight after an alleged assault in his coaching institute. Khan Sir was granted anticipatory bail in that case which essentially freed him from the threat of arrest in connection with the allegations.
The new complaint is separate from that and concerns the woman’s allegations of threats to her life and claims relating to events she says occurred several years ago.
The police investigation is still under way. The complainant’s statement has been recorded and officers are investigating the facts and circumstances of her allegations. Any further actions will be made from the evidence gathered during the investigation.
