Narendra Modi yesterday told members of the media for the first day of the Monsoon session of parliament that India is progressing on the path of development and reforms as India is progressing in progress and has achieved many landmark achievements in the last month.
Modi described India’s progress as a ‘Reform Express’ and said that India has made great progress in infrastructure, technology, energy, and manufacturing as well as technology and manufacturing sectors where the country has seen major milestones in infrastructure, technology, energy, and manufacturing sectors that has been achieved in India’s development in the last few decades, highlighting the government’s commitment to long-term development and that of the country’s development is not only for long term growth but also for the country is a ‘Reform Express’.

The prime minister said that in recent weeks, the country has made remarkable progress. A very large oil refinery in Rajasthan has been dedicated to the nation. A few weeks ago, the country's third semiconductor plant was dedicated to the nation. A train running on green hydrogen has also been dedicated to the nation. Now, the nation has set off aboard the Reform Express," PM Modi said.
He said that these programs are developing new opportunities for India's youth and improving India's position in new fields in semiconductor manufacturing and green energy, in the future.
According to the Prime Minister, these reforms will help young Indians to innovate, take bold decisions, and win a world economy in a rapidly changing global economy, he said.
Highlights India's Economic Resilience
PM Modi also spoke about the global economic issues that arise from West Asia’s ongoing conflict, particularly the situation of energy-importing countries like India.
He said geopolitical tensions have influenced petrol, diesel, and LPG sectors, and many countries that depend on imported energy have been experiencing disruption due to this and other reasons.
Even so, the Prime Minister said India has not only remained strong and resilient but has grown economically.
He said India remains one of the fastest-growing major economies and that the country’s growth is due to good governance and policy stability.

With respect to the importance of healthy democratic discussions, PM Modi appealed to all Members of Parliament to participate in healthy democratic discussions and work hard and responsibly during the Monsoon Session, PM Modi asked them to be involved and contribute to the Monsoon Session with their voices heard and responsible during the Monsoon Session.
He made clear Parliament should be a forum for serious debate that is evidence-based, not disruption-based.
"I do believe that where there are facts, there is no need for chaos. If your logic and facts are strong, there is no need to raise your voice," the prime minister said.
He said he hoped that discussions during the session would be anchored in reason, facts, and constructive dialogue.
But the Parliament is there to make sure every voice is heard. I urge all parliamentarians to have discussions with logic and facts."
Focus on the Development Agenda
The Monsoon Session will see discussions on important legislative proposals, economic issues, and national policy issues. Additionally, the Monsoon session will go forward with some of the key legislative proposals, economic issues, and national policy issues to be discussed through the Monsoon session. The government will also likely focus on infrastructure, manufacturing, technology, and energy security reform, and it will be able to address the challenges that the Opposition is facing.
