The BJP leader Bandaru Vijayalakshmi is in full support of Narendra Modi through his posts on X. In Hyderabad, she has appealed to young people to support leadership that is based on taking decisions and not only making them a part of political demonstrations.
Vijayalakshmi said India’s youth should understand the importance of decisive governance and policy-driven leadership. Responding to the prime minister’s message, she said the country needs leaders who will be able to make “fast-track decisions” and establish legislation that benefits people’s interests.

"I hope the youth of the nation also believe that you need a leader who can fast-track decisions, who can legislate for you, unlike others who just stage a march and pose for a photo," she said.
The BJP leader also referred to the legacy of national figures like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, which has made a difference for India and its hopes and dreams.
She said Patel was instrumental in integrating the nation after Independence and Kalam inspired generations of young Indians to dream big through his vision for science, innovation, and national development.
Vijayalakshmi also discussed political comparisons involving Nepal in her speech and said India must be viewed from the perspective of its own democratic institutions and development journey. She asked political leaders to concentrate on India's capabilities and priorities.
Vijayalakshmi said the Centre’s initiatives aimed at empowering young people were the flagship programmes like Skill India, startup promotion schemes, and other employment-oriented schemes. These programmes, she added, have provided opportunities for skill and entrepreneurship development across the country.
She said in the long run, the government has been focusing on developing pathways for young Indians to get jobs, start new companies, and participate in the country's economic development.
The BJP has always promoted Skill India, Startup India, and entrepreneurship promotion as key features of the youth development strategy. These initiatives are intended to help boost employability, drive innovation, and boost job creation across sectors, Modi said.
Vijayalakshmi’s comments come at a time of very high political debate about governance, youth welfare, and employment in India. The ruling party and opposition are in the midst of competing narratives on how to respond to the aspirations of the people of India.
Youth-oriented policies, employment generation, education, and entrepreneurship continue to be key issues in political debates.
