Internal differences are emerging in the CJP (Chhava Kranti/Jan-related organization, depending on the organization's official name) as a group of volunteers has started an indefinite hunger strike outside Abhijeet Dipke's residence where a key organizational meeting is going on.
According to those taking part in the protest, the hunger strike began when senior members of the organization were having a discussion in Dipke's house. The protesters claim that the current leadership has sidelined the grassroots volunteers in favor of close associates in the organization when it comes to key positions.
The agitating volunteers contend they were actively involved in previous demonstrations and faced police action, including baton charges, during protests organized by the group.
But they contend that despite all their contributions and sacrifices, leadership and spokesperson positions have been given to people who are personally close to Abhijeet Dipke instead of long-time volunteers.
Holding placards and raising slogans, the protesters were calling for greater transparency in the organization’s internal functioning. They said all appointments within the organization should be based on merit, dedication, and contribution rather than personal relationships.
The protesters’ main demand is the removal of individuals that they describe as Dipke’s close friends from the positions of spokesperson and key organizational positions. The party has said that no internal meeting should take place until these appointments are reconsidered.

For now, the hunger strike continues at the meeting site, with protesters reiterating that they will not withdraw until their demands regarding the spokesperson appointments are accepted.
