Amid all this buzz, actor Pramod Shetty a close acquaintance of Rashmika’s ex-fiance, Rakshit Shetty recently addressed the media and posed the question on everyone's mind: "Will you be attending Rashmika's wedding?"

Pramod Shetty’s Candid Reaction

Pramod Shetty was in Davanagere promoting his upcoming bilingual film Shesha. When reporters asked if he would attend the rumored February 26 nuptials, Pramod replied in a witty and realistic manner.

“I haven’t received an invitation yet,” Pramod said, laughing. "If I get one, I will go. But I also know that they probably won’t invite me. Everyone knows that."

His humorous remark hinted at the rocky history between the "Shetty gang" and Rashmika following her infamous breakup with Rakshit Shetty years ago. When asked about Rakshit Shetty's whereabouts and his absence from the public eye, Pramod replied with positive reassurance, “He’ll be back. He gave a statement recently. Like a Phoenix, he will rise again."

"Shesha," a Bilingual Experiment Uniquely Fungible

Pramod Shetty used the platform to discuss an ambitious project named Shesha with a Malaysian director, in addition to gossip he once shared in his autobiography. Unlike traditional Pan-India films that are shot in one language and then dubbed into others, Shesha has been filmed in both Kannada and Malayalam.

“We didn’t just dub it; we filmed the scenes twice with actors in both languages to ensure we preserved the cultural nuances,” said Pramod. He highlighted the film’s significant theme, comparing it to his last hit, Laughing Buddha. "In Laughing Buddha, we showcased the human side of the police. In Shesha, we are addressing a broader social issue.

If there isn’t a school or a hospital provided by the government, there are private alternatives. But there is no substitute for a police station. Where should a citizen go if justice and dharma fail within these walls? That is the thrilling premise of this thriller."

The February 26 Mystery

As the end of February approaches, fans are on edge. As the "ViRash" (Vijay and Rashmika) wedding rumors circulate, the silence from the stars only adds to the intrigue. Whether the viral wedding card is a sophisticated hoax or a legitimate leak will be revealed in the coming week. The industry is currently divided between those anticipating a wedding celebration and those, like Pramod Shetty, who are focused on delivering high-quality films to the audience.
