The City of Lakes witnessed a truly cinematic moment on today when the South Indian superstars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna made their first public appearance as a married couple. The two were spotted at Udaipur Airport today and both the supporters and the newsworthy vogues began to sing a piece of hype. Titled the “ViRosh” by their millions of followers, the couple married a day earlier, on February 26, in a stunning ceremony that merged their Telugu and Kodava identities.
A Radiant First Public Appearance
Stepping outside the airport terminal, Vijay and Rashmika were greeted by a sea of flashing cameras and cheering fans. Stepping away from heavy wedding finery, the pair wore elegant but comfortable travel clothes:
Rashmika Mandanna: Swore the age-old “new bride” style with a bright red Indian suit adorned in gold embroidery. She finished her look with minimal makeup and a beaming smile that didn’t fade for a second.
Vijay Deverakonda: Credited to his wife in an elegant silver-grey Indo-western kurta attire. Looking no less like a "Rowdy" star turned devoted husband, paired beside Rashmika in some way was like standing with her against an army of people. It wasn't just a rushing off to the flight and the couple's getting away; the couple took moment to appreciate the love their public had. They were shown waving, performing a traditional Namaste, and even giving flying kisses to the photographers, fans and those in the crowd gathered on Earth to look at the stars.

In the ‘ViRosh’ Wedding of the Century
The wedding was conducted at the rich ITC Mementos (Ekaaya) in Udaipur, home venue only to a family and a close circle of immediate intimates. But the couples posted on social media last Thursday night to their joy, posting their official wedding photographs on the internet.
Highlights of the Festivities:
- Fusion Of Cultures: The day started with a traditional Andhra ceremony at 10:10am and a sunset Kodava ritual in appreciation of the Kodava tradition to honor Rashmika’s Coorgi roots.
- Emotional Commitments: Vijay added, “I made my best friend…my wife,” while Rashmika welcomed Vijay as the person who taught her ‘what being in peace feels like.’
- Fun and Games: A unique cricket match, the "ViRosh Premier League", and a pool volleyball session were part of the pre-wedding celebrations, the royal wedding could be fun.
Next Steps for the Power Couple?
The newlyweds are said to be flying to Hyderabad, where a raucous, star-studded reception will take place at the Taj Krishna on March 4, 2026. The event will feature the crème de la crème of the Telugu and Hindi film industries. The couple will also soon find their steps on the big screen, professionally, with their third collaboration, 'Ranabaali', set to debut September 2026.
