Raja Saab: The Top Shows and the All Time Priced Tickets

The producers (People Media Factory) have asked the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to allow special pricing for the special premiere shows, industry trackers and major news outlets said. The tickets for those early screenings can be the most expensive in Telugu cinema history if approved.

Anticipated Ticket Prices for Premiere Shows (Jan 8)

The group has also applied for "flat pricing" for the premiere shows, which begin around 9PM on Thursday.

  • Multiplexes: Proposed at ₹1,000 to ₹1,180 (GST included).
  • Single Screens: ₹800 to ₹943 (GST included).

Along with premieres, the makers have also applied for a price hike in the opening week based on the intense holiday rush around Sankranti. The Telangana quoted minimum rates for regular theatre ranges from ₹300 to ₹450, depending on the theater. The global hype and advance booking performance. The Indian market will need more government approval for determining pricing; meanwhile, the overseas box office is already in the midst of a “Prabhas storm.”.

North America: The film has already surpassed $450,000 in advance sales— over 17,500 tickets sold in 1,000+ shows so far.

UK & Europe: Similar trends are being reported, with nearly 17,500 tickets snapped up in pre-sales in the UK alone.

The film faces stiff competition from Thalapathy Vijay’s final film, Jana Nayagan, which also premieres on the same day. But The Raja Saab holds a unique advantage as Prabhas’ first foray into the horror-comedy genre.

What to Expect from The Raja Saab?

Directed by Maruthi, the film was called both a "fantasy horror-comedy" and a "toxic fairy tale for grown-ups."

Intro: Prabhas plays a bright-eyed younger man who inherits an eerie ancestral house. 

The twist? His grandfather’s ghost, played by Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt, resides inside the mansion.

Length: The movie is a gargantuan entertainer and its length is three hours and 10 minutes (190 minutes).

As reported, the climax of a 40-minute climax is going to be all-time high for the movie.

And the casting: In Prabhas, along with Sanjay Dutt, is Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar and Boman Irani (who is a psychiatrist). The Raja Saab is presented as visual spectacle, with music by S. Thaman and elaborate VFX sets.

With premiere date January 8 looming, all eyes are on Telangana government's decision concerning the expensive ticket approvals.
