Must have a bachelor’s degree in any field at least with 50 per cent marks. A pass class is adequate for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates. With the exception of reserved categories a concession for use according to public policies the age limit falls between 20 and 28 years. Must also be familiar with the local language of their target state where they are seeking admission as that will be examined on the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
Recruitment process: Three stages.
- Preliminary Exam – A qualifying test with sections on English, reasoning, and numerical ability.
- Main Exam – A standardized test that includes general understanding, computer skills, and logical reasoning.
- Language Proficiency Test – Requires that candidates can read, write and speak the local regional language in which they are posted.
